The breakfast is very good, as are the rooms. The pool area is clean and functional but small, so don't stay here for a pool focused break. The location is however perfect. On a quiet street just minutes away from the action of Palermo. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This place feels boutique.

1828 is a small well run hotel. The guys at the front desk; Horacio, Juan Pablo, Nicholas, were all very helpful and attentive. The restaurant service staff were great, the food selections were enjoyable. My wife an I really enjoyed staying there. The room was on the small side, but was very clean and well designed. The bed was superb. Our room overlooked the pool and dining area in the rear courtyard and was very quiet. The 1828 is in Paloma Soho which is a great neighborhood for restaurants, bars and shopping. Although priced higher than larger commercial hotels, the location and focus on customer service are worth the price.

Great location in Palermo, walking distance to everything in the area. The rooms were comfortable great shower and bed. Nice ambiance and good breakfast

The hotel itself was superb...very comfortable...had a bit of the Miami-South Beach vibe... Also the rooms were nice...great balconies...comfortable beds...nice bathrooms...the outdoor tub on the balcony was a nice touch... The breakfast was fabulous...just the right mix of healthy fruits, breads, sweets...great coffee! and the young lady from the hotel that was there each morning was absolutely sensational... speaking of which, the entire staff was great....very, very courteous and helpful. The location was super as well...right in the heart of Palermo Soho...and walkable to everything...shopping, restaurants, bars..

Perfectly situated in the coolest neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, staff made our honeymoon stay exquisite - welcoming us with rose petals on the bed and coincidentally arriving in perfect time for their free cakes (each afternoon), which we enjoyed with a glass of champagne. The staff are beyond helpful and warm and from their delicious breakfast to swimming in their heated pool, the 1828 Smart Hotel offered a stylish and luxurious stay.

The room was great, very comfy and clean! Hotel has a small number of rooms, so it is very quite and relaxing! Location was great, next to the top restaurants in Palermo, we felt very safe in the neighborhood and in the hotel.
